Hong Kong DFS

Did not visit HK Disneyland but bought some merchandise @ the HK airport instead.

Lemon V

Bought a bottle of Lemon V at the 7-11 only because the freebie bag that came with it contained a freebie badge! My brother bought one and so I had to have one too *hee hee* but damn, my badge didn't have the cute cartoon! Only some damn lemons! *disappointed*

Unicef

We donated all our foreign change.

Money Bag

I usually use this to keep my moolahs when traveling so money management is easier. I don't have to worry about confusing local currencies with foreign ones.

Sasa

Cheap cheap cheap! So convenient that it's located right opposite where we stayed! *woopeee*

Shoe Shine Mit

Not a bag but sure as hell looks like one.

Shamrock Hotel (新乐酒店)

This, is where we stayed. Kor bunked in with us for the first two nights and then left to join his students at the local Uni. The room is quite small but not like we stayed in all the time, so I suppose that's not a problem. It's also near the MTR (Jordan 佐敦) so getting around was really convenient.

The HK Tourism Board promotes "吃东西,买东西" in Hong Kong; i.e. Eat and Shop in Hong Kong but for mum and I, it's really a case of "上楼梯,下楼梯"; i.e. up the stairs/escalators, down the stairs/escalators. We walked so much our feet ache at the end of the day - yes, literally.

I think I might need another trip somewhere else to recover from this one. *grins*

TY Treasures

Mum's first purchase on the trip! An off-white leather tote.

I also think we walked her silly! Her legs were acheing by the 2nd day and when we got back to the hotel about 10-ish in the night, she fell right asleep after her shower!

Baleno

Brother bought Lisa a pair of sandals & a couple of t-shirts. Mum bought a pair of bermudas. Everything was going for a steal! Me? They did not have anything in my size *curses & swears*

Okashi Land

Mum went nuts over the peeled roasted chestnuts when she discovered them at the local 7-11 in Hong Kong. She claims they're oh-so-good-you-can't-find-anything-like-this-in-Singapore!? *laughs*

She bought more over the next 3 days of our trip.

Cathay Pacific

Mum almost had to use this on our flight to Hong Kong today! But partly because the food sucked too. *laughs*
